Windfoil equipment is still very expensive and it’s just normal to think twice before buying a windfoil quiver for more than €2000 without even knowing if it’s something you will enjoy doing.
On that point, we should definitely warn you: windfoiling is purely addictive, and you may never stop when you have first started! Cruising half a meter above the water in silence and twice as fast as the wind is going to change your views on light wind windsurfing forever.

Windfoil Xperience week in Roses, Spain: May27th - June 3rd
THE WINDFOIL XPERIENCE AT ION CLUB - GOLF DE ROSES
One of the school we highly recommend this month is the ION Club – Golf de Roses in Spain / Costa Brava. The school is driven by Nora and Ronan who are both experienced windfoilers.
They organise a special “Windfoil Xperience” week from May 27th to June 3rd 2018, where William Huppert, world cup competitor and expert foiler, will give you advanced tips and tricks to learn windfoiling the right way.
A minimum level of windsurfing is needed to participate (water start, foot straps), but don't worry, windfoiling is not difficult to learn, especially when coaches tell you the dos and don'ts.

6 days of Windfoil coaching – 2-3 hours per day in a group (2018 Gecko Foil Edition 120 and 133 liters)
During the first three days the ION CLUB Instructors and Ronan Kersaudy will introduce you to Windfoiling, followed by three days of advanced coaching by William Huppert. To help you progress faster we include video teaching and the usage of radio - BB Talkin helmets.
6 days of windsurf -, foil - and stand up paddle-rental of our Fanatic and North Sails 2018 equipment range
Also included is a 30 minutes entrance to SPA Oxygen at Camping la Ballena Alegre to wind down after an exciting day on the water.
A welcome drink and dinner at the roof top restaurant of the Bar Oasis for all participants is organized at the first evening (27/05).
A second dinner for the group is organized in the middle of the week in town.
