GLIDE WIND is Neilpryde's friendly, easy cruising and carving foil. Also suitable for waveriding in small waves and freestyle. With an early take-off it flies at low speed, allowing first time foilers to feel safe and comfortable. This all-round foil focuses on extreme stability, early flying and surprisingly even allows you to zig-zag around while foiling.
 
Ever dreamed about foiling but felt that it might be too dangerous or difficult GLIDE WIND is the perfect tool to get into foiling. It is designed with round edges on the wings for safety and engineered so that the lowest possible speed is required for take-off. We recommend using small sail sizes and any bigger freemove, wave or freestyle board as well as medium size freeride and freerace boards.

TAIL WING ADJUSTMENT
Delivers inverted thrust to balance the main wing and maintain easy control and stability. Foil is perfectly trimmed for average weight sailor (75-80kg) with tail in neutral position.
 
Heavier sailors, especially in light winds or during the learning process might prefer slightly more stabilizing force that a down tilted rear wing provides. Also, this down-angled position increases low-end power and lift of the foil.
 
At the same time lighter sailors, especially in strong wind conditions, may benefit from a drag and lift reduction by reducing the downwards tilt angle of the rear wing. Less down-angle will reduce the differential angle between the two wings and make the foil feel less draggy in the water, resulting in the fastest possible foiling sensation.

GLIDE WIND pre-preg carbon layup with inner foam construction for maximum durability and weight to ratio. Front wing span, Small: 64cm / Tail wing span, Small: 40cm. GLIDE wings setup creates a natural tendency to roll into turns maintaining a nice balance during your ride.
 
Front wing is designed with a pronounced rounded Angle of attack and an elliptical bend shape. While flying, this thick shape naturally closes the radius of your turn, tightening it. Angled down tail wings maintain a self-stabilizing roll allowing for easy turning performance. During this momentum, the GLIDE tail wing would always want to come back to flat position and cancelling the turning radius.
